SMS & Messaging Compliance

This page describes how Zahara Solutions LLC (“Zahara Solutions,” “we,” “us,” or “the Company”) uses text messaging (SMS) in connection with managed notification services for local businesses. It supplements our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Who we are
Zahara Solutions LLC is an information technology and business services company based in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. We provide managed software and automation services, including SMS notification services on behalf of business clients.
Types of messages
Messages sent through our programs are transactional in nature. They are not bulk marketing campaigns unless separately registered and disclosed. Typical message types include:
- Lead inquiry confirmations and follow-up updates
- Appointment reminders
- Service or closure updates (for example, weather-related closures)
- Post-service review requests
- Business-owner alerts (for example, new lead notifications)
When we send messages to a client’s customers, the sender name on the text reflects the client business, not Zahara Solutions LLC.
How you opt in
Consent is required before we send SMS to a consumer phone number.
- Web forms: An unchecked checkbox with clear disclosure; the user must actively check the box to consent.
- Booking or intake forms: Explicit consent at the time of booking (for example, “Text me appointment reminders”).
- Business owners: Consent documented in a signed service agreement or equivalent written authorization.
We do not send SMS to numbers that have not provided prior express consent through one of the methods above.
Message frequency and charges
Message frequency varies depending on the service and your interaction with the business. Typically, you may receive 1–4 messages per inquiry, appointment, or service interaction.

Opt out and help
You can cancel SMS at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you send STOP, you will receive one confirmation message and no further texts will be sent unless you opt in again through a permitted method.

Supported opt-out keywords include: STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT.
Privacy and data sharing
We collect mobile phone numbers and SMS consent records to deliver these services and maintain an audit trail of opt-ins and opt-outs.
Mobile information will not be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We may share information with service providers (such as our SMS delivery platform) only as needed to operate the program.

Client responsibility
When we send SMS on behalf of a business client, the client remains responsible for its relationship with its end customers and for ensuring lawful opt-in. We provide technical and managed services; we are not the seller of goods or services to the client’s customers.
